Well today is the nausea day. We switched pain meds but I understand it can take a few days to flush it all out because she has had so much the last two days. She had a little chicken noodle soup, a few crackers and two ginger ales. Not enough to make her feel better and fill the stomach. I ordered some sauce free pasta and bread for dinner. Hopefully she will be able to eat more this evening and get her digestive tract activated.

She said me, "have you put a prayer request out on the blog to have the nausea stop?" I said I have but will do so again.

Dr Hoh came in this afternoon and said he will discharge when she can eat solid foods, he didnt care about pooping so much but she definately has to eat solid foods and keep them down.

OH! THERES NOTHING WORSE THAN NAUSEA. HANG IN THERE. AT LEAST HE LET UP ON THE BOWEL MOVEMENT. I WAS WORRIED ABOUT THAT. PAIN MEDS ARE HARD ON THE SYSTEM. MAYBE THE PASTA AND BREAD WILL BE GOOD. TAKE CARE. WILL TALK TO YOU SOON. I LOVE YOU. TAMMY

Hey Holly and Cortney,
I WILL pray that the nausea ceases. I have to say though, that percocet always made me feel nauseated. Hopefully the change in pains meds will help! I'll pray for a healthy appetite for Holly as well. I know that you want to be home. We love you both!

PS We sure love the blogs. We were out today and as soon as we returned Steve made sure that I checked in.

Oh Gees, percocet makes me throw up like crazy - I'm willing to bet that was the problem and now she has to get it out of her system.

It is so great to hear of her getting up and walking around.

Love and wishing you all the best,
Mindi

Holly and Cortney,
I am so glad to hear that you are doing well!!! I have been praying for you. I will continue to do so. Pain meds make me nauseous also. That is the worst part. The cure is worse than the problem sometimes. I know the kids will be glad to have you home.
Take care,
Patty
