10 AM

Holly was nauseated all night, she stopped heaving but felt like she could at any moment. She didnt follow my directions and eat crackers all night, she ate two. I arrived at 8 AM and she had already walked to the other hall (at least a distance of a block or more) and taken a shower and returned. She is still VERY nauseated. The doctor was in this morning and will be back this afternoon, I think they want to release her but she has to eat. He ordered something to get the old pooper going again and he said lots of times this will activate the rest of the digestive system. She ate a half of a large fruit bowl. She just has to get past this nausea, physically she is doing really well, the problem is she is having side effects from taking so much percocet.

We are all praying for the nausea to stop. Here is where you have to trust totally in God and trust in HIS timeline for things to happen. It's not easy because you do want to be back home. But you have put your trust in God that when it's the right time Holly will come home.
Something like this happened to me once and I came to find out that because I didn't get to go somewhere when I wanted to....God was protecting me and I avoided a horrible accident that I could have very well been involved in.
God has a reason and we must not question. God is good and HE is in control.Be patient.

We will be praying for the nausea to stop. I know how if feels being in the hospital and wanting everything to be OK so that you can just return home to gain some sort of "normalcy" again.
After Alyson had her brain tumor removed, we were there for 30 days! The hospital became our home and the people there became our family. Looking back, God knew exactly what he was doing and it was His plan and will that we stay.
Hang it there and keep the faith!

Love,
Cheryl
